I hear Saban is leaving us for the 12th time. Can anyone confirm?

I like and respect Saban but this is the one thing about him that I could never accept. It got old having to deal with this most every year when he was at LSU.
He'd be an absolute idiot to leave Bama but in this day and age, nothing surprises me any more.

We aren't dealing with anything other than people on message boards.

Found this on the Cleveland Browns scout site. Who knows if this is reliable at all. FWIW:
"Saban Rumor - He laughed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I happen to know quite a few people connected to Saban (family ties). Let me end the rumors now, dude ain't leaving 'Bama basically ever. Was told this morning, "Nick had a good laugh over the rumor. He is basically the King of Tuscaloosa. Think Joe Pa, minus the kiddie raping, and he actually wins."

You seem a tad irritated buddy.
Hang in there.

Pretty sure most Bama fans aren't really putting up with it. He's about to finish year 6. Nothing indicates him leaving. I'm not concerned. Now if something changes after the NC game, and he were to leave... then more power to him. I hope he's continues his success and I'm thankful for the turnaround he brought Bama. The dominance and the success we've enjoyed over the last 6 yrs is not equalled by anyone. I can't hate the guy at all, due to this. Bama will still have a wealth of talent, and will likely have the ears of some big time coaches if they receive a call from Bama. We are in shape to make a solid hire from this point forward.
I still think we're a few yrs away from facing that though. I believe Saban wants to be a part of the first BCS playoff, and what would cement his legacy even more, than winning 3 or 4 of the last BCS NC Bowl games, and the 1st NC Playoff Title game?

Just passing on what the Cleveland Browns fan said. That's all.

I don't know why some LSU fans are still so attached to a coach that left almost 10 years ago.

Think of it this way. You find your dream girl(guy in your case), you are so happy together, but you find out the entire time that the dream girl was fricking around on you. Dream girls moves on, and then soon after comes back and marries your boss. You'd be mad too.

The dude aint leaving Bama. No way, no how. He did his time in the NFL and he sucked at it. He's back where imo he wants to be.

He's been at Alabama for 6 years now. People are acting like he's been there for 2 and that he's going to screw us over. If he leaves, he isn't screwing us over. If he stays, we are lucky to have him.

You have a few who still think he is the greatest coach ever. I and many others happen to think he is one of the best coaches in CFB. If these rumors were floating with Miles there would be just as much interest if we were about to go back to back. Most of us think he is a great coach but wouldn't want him back.

Colin Cowherd just said Saban would only join Lombardi at the next level. He joined the Browns
Cowherd says if he beats ND this story will catch major steam and he thinks he's gone
Said saban doesn't like seeing Schiano winning when he knows he's a better a coach
Said Terry Saban said wins at Bama is getting old fwiw
