He's 69 years old. And his team's offenses always suck at the worst times, thereby underachieving. I know this from visiting volnation.com -- where it seems to be about half and half pro vs. anti Barnes.

Since Rick Barnes was let go at Texas and arrived at UT.
Texas - 160-107 - 0 Big 12 regular season championships; 2 Big-12 Tournament Championships; 5 NCAA Tournament Bids; Elite 8
Tennessee - 175-92 - 1 SEC regular season championship; 1 SEC Tournament Championship; 5 NCAA Tournament Bids; Sweet 16 (x2)
The two programs have been really similar...but look at where they were before 2015:
Texas - 2 Conference Tournament Championships; 22 Regular Season Conference Championships; 3 Final Fours; 7 Elite Eights; 10 Sweet Sixteens; 1 (claimed) National Championship (Pre-NCAA Tournament)
Tennessee - 4 Conference Tournament Championships; 9 Regular Season Conference Championships; 0 Final Fours; 1 Elite Eight, 7 Sweet Sixteens;
Texas has a much richer basketball history than UT...but now the two programs are comparable.
