But, let's be truthful. It really does.

West Coast gave up on all things man(ly) -- like college football.

Rest of the country (including anemic MidWest and plains areas, and of course southern states) took over.

PAC12 athletics went to soccer and lacrosse. Gave up on the big 3: football, bball, baseball. Said they don't need them.

Went completely gay.

The world has lost its mind.

But, thankfully, we didn't. We took over shite. SEC could easily give up on any kind of expansion. We don't need these shitty teams. We'll still be the "premier league" of CFB and demand credentials of outside-the-south teams who request to get in to have a look.

B1G is pretending to be a man's league but we all know that's not true. Trying to act tough and be PC, woke and virtue signal makes you look worse than the PAC4. ACC same but at least they do win bball games and some football games.

Anyways, woke and pansiness win you nothing. Just my thoughts right now as I'm sitting in another country ready to defend this shitshow called democracy.

Seriously, God bless

Exactly. Someone must have accused you of being gay for you to feel the need to defend your supposed non gayness and defend yourself by saying you’re a soldier.

This needs to be moved to the poli board where it will be welcomed with open arms.

If he is really in the military he might want to watch what he puts out there in print on the internet. He needs to delete this thread.

Those that do not study history are doomed to repeat mistakes

I am old, and lived through this the first time

We had Superconferences
We had payment of student athletes
We had gambling on the rise
We had excessive injury issues

Gambling hit the World Series, the US government stepped in
Gambling hit the NiT (mob involved) and the NiT died and the NCAA rose
We had SuperConferences and they split up to engage regional fans and schools
We had payment of players and POTUS and SCOTUS stepped in and stopped it
We had rising injuries in the 20's and POTUS and Congress got involved
We had cheating the ended the PCC, and reborn as the PAC a few years later

I have been watching the last 20 years and we are heading back where were have already been but greed by all has propelled us forward. It is a matter of time till the Internal Revenue steps in and defines athletes as employees of their respective schools so they can tax the money the schools and players make.

IRS is the 800 pound gorilla that you don't want to wake from their nap.

The Big 10 corn states and some east coast schools produce some of the best wrestlers in the country that are badasses and would kick the piss out of most people. But yeah, they’re “woke”

The definition of that word seems to change daily as an insult. I’m tired of it. Invent or destroy another word, be original. Just give us one board where that crap is off limits.

That rant was not directed at who I quoted.

Interesting perspective. I wasn’t aware of many of the things you mentioned.

If this is true why does the SEC allow Georgia (the only blue state in the south) to not only remain in the conference but host the championship game?

Got two words for ya pards: Warnock and Ossoff

Though I will say that Stacy Abrams would probably be a good interior linemen. She looks like the late Refrigerator Perry with a wig

Hope we move the conference championship to Texas so I never have to set foot in your progressive pants, blue state

Yeah. I’m not necessarily in disagreement(mostly because I stop reading when posts get political). But I come on here for sports and GOOD sports shite talk. If all people are doing is talking politics, seems like there’s a board for it. And if I’m being honest, I Like Ike.

Sark has never won 10 games so I don't think you need to be worrying about the location of the Conference Championship game
