Better metrics than Ole Miss

Yes, they have an ugly loss to Alabama but they took SC down to the wire in Columbia.

Their loss to A&M is comparable to SC’s loss to Ole Miss (which was at home while Mizzou’s was on the road).

It’s just interesting that they aren’t discussed at all

They're definitely more deserving than the Murdaughs for sure.

Their resume is in the Carolina category of all "good" losses except their wins aren't quite as good as Carolina's.

They also got absolutely blown the hell out in 2 of those 3 losses. On the flip side, all 3 of them were road games.

I mean Ole Miss isn't in the discussion either, so comparing Mizzou to OM isn't great...

Honestly I have no idea why these topics keep coming up, the committee is going to put Bama in.

No mention of the fact they got shutout by Alabama.

I could see them getting in over Alabama or Ole Miss.

Correct. But also they look into things like this and say well Mizzou was without their RB and played most of the game without the QB. So I dont think the score line is viewed the same as the score line between Mizzou and TAMU.

Oh well. None of this mattered since we blew the lead to sc

If Mizzou had held off SC a couple of weeks ago then 10-2 Mizzou would have been in the conversation

On the flip side, while there weren't any spectacular wins in there, going 9-3 in a followup season with a bunch of injuries is a pretty impressive season for Drink in terms of building a program that is Top 25 quality year in and year out. It's the years when you don't have a great big senior class and everything goes right that really kind of test what your program is, and Mizzou gutted out 9-3 in that year. Considering their history that's gotta be pretty encouraging.

And all Mizzou had to do was stop USCe with a minute left. Then this would not be a discussion including Mizzou. A 10-2 SEC team is in. Also must mention Pyne started his 1st game for MO at Bama. Gave them 3 INTs on a silver platter. No Noel in that game either. Mizzou is in if they beat SC. Fact …

Yep. With 2 losses we might be ranked 11th.

There hasn't been one interesting thing about Missouri football since September.
