In his defense if they aren’t gonna play NIL competitively he has no chance competing with A&M, LSU, Bama and others for blue chip DL.

Like I've said for years, Phil Steele is a total POS, and not very smart either.

PS - Does anyone buy his magazine???

I would assume so. Even if it's not well researched, it's a lot of work to write that much for nothing. Wouldn't think he could stay in business if they didn't.

Lolz at thinking Missouri and Kentucky have a better Dline than us

One thing State always has is a talented Dline

So NC State doesn’t have any DL in any 3 deep preseason All ACC yet better than Bama and LSU

This is the key to Alabama's season in 2023, not quarterback. If this unit ends up being more like a genuine top 10 DL then the defense ought to be good enough that they would only need a good game out of the quarterback in their biggest games. Just gotta hit the lotto and hope for some 2009 SECCG GMac and 2015 CFP Coker games.

We signed the #1 Linebacker in the country (who Bama desperately wanted). Signed Brown who had a bama offer. Have Beavers committed with a bama offer. And are in the top 2 for Kam Franklin who bama offered.

I’ve heard bama’s NIL is not impressive

He just writes down anything these days. I bet he couldn’t name one defensive lineman on LSU’s roster even with the guys we have returning

Just as with the Auburn chap who said the same thing about his Oline I think, he named almost all of them.
