OU goes from 2nd best recruiting class in conference to 10th best.

Going to need an elite coaching staff to overcome being in the bottom half of talent year in and year out. The highest ranked big12 class checks in at 26 this year.

We took a much smaller class because we took huge classes the prior 2 years. Only so many seats at the table. We had the most freshman minutes played this year than anyone. And most 2 year player minutes.

I vote you keep doing what you are doing.. I think Venables is ready to turn the corner this year..
I also like the 113-37 total score over the last 3 years..
+76 Margin = Texas beats OU by an average of 25 points a year

Yeah so many recruits flipped at the end because you wanted to have smaller numbers huh? You have a clown coaching staff and the kids are starting to figure it out. V and all the other nepotism hires single handily set OU football back a decade. Enjoy the ride.

It was by far the coldest game I've ever attended and the beatdown was even worse than the score.. Just absolutely brutal..
1st and 40 after 2 personal fouls.. they wouldn't even need 3 downs to get the 1st.. they could have named their score that day..

We can build from HS but it can bite you in the arse like JA did with us. Too much NIL for unproven talent is not good business

Next year is a make or break year for Venables. True freshman are going to have minimal impact next year. I believe they are allocating NIL for impact portal players.

Exactly. Already have a lot of young players so wanted a smaller class and go big in portal for experience at certain positions.

Things are still unfolding this year though…we got our highly touted offensive lineman to commit and flipped a qb to OU… tough to know if this is a sign Arnold is gone next year…he was kind of a bust overall.

The best defense I’ve heard for Brent as a head coach this season is his recruiting. I’m curious what they’re going to say next season.
