An Auburn fan posted an extended rant on an online message board about how LSU fans are very sensitive about how they smell like corn dogs. And people e-mailed it around (this was pre-Facebook and Twitter, apparently) and suddenly it was a thing and Auburn fans started saying LSU fans smelled like corn dogs. Now everyone knows.
