Should be the first of many before we get the Preseason mags which usually hit the press in mid to late May.

To clarify, these are the rankings from the embarrassment that is Andy Staples, not On3’s rankings.

Two top 10 recruiting classes and a lot of solid players from the transfer portal have rebuilt this Auburn team.

I think DownSouthSaturdayMorning ranking looks better than On3's

I have done zero research and know next to nothing about what teams return in 2025, so with no thought whatsoever I will say:
-ND seems way too high.
-Clemson seems too high, although they play in a weak league. I am nearly certain there are more than 2 teams in America better than them
-PSU is the same joke as always .They'll lose to Oregon and OSU but still be in the top 10
-No idea on bama. They lost 4 games and break in a new QB, but year 2 is usually a big improvement with a new coach. Who knows
-UGA seems abotu right. We've got issues but will always be top 10 with kirby
-Illiinois, SC, and AU seem too high
-Knowing nothing about them, Michigan, Tenn, and ole miss seem too low

The Mizzou pick is predictably lazy. You can always figure these lazy frickers will slot Mizzou about 5 spots lower than they will finish. Clockwork.

How the frick do you do a power ranking for a period in which no teams play each other?

You’ve got to be kidding.
Last season Mizzou was in most everyone’s Preseason Top 10. They absolutely did not finish close to that.

I want to know what A&M was ranked in the pre-season power rankings in 2012 and enter the season at that number.

Last season we got some pre-season pub, but every other season before that we were picked well below where we ended up.

Yeah way too high.
There are questions about the offense. Whether it was Sark or QE, holding the offense back.

How's your head coach doing? I read he is putting off cancer surgery because of his faith and will take another look at it in January. Does prostate cancer work like that?

For UT, it's fair despite the fact that it's based on the wrong thing. The loss of Nico isn't going to hurt us as much as losing some key defenders and being a giant unknown at WR (which was the case last year too). I think our running game will be fine although I doubt one RB equals Sampson's load we have guys that can make up the difference.
Texas, BAMA and UGA look about right. Others I'd change around.

Does Hugh legitimately have cancer?
