SIAP, but this is the first time I'm seeing this.
Apparently On3 calculates an NIL value for athletes and ranks them using the metrics described below, which includes not only performance, but social media followers and publicity factors.

About On3 NIL Valuation
A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories:
+ Performance
+ Influence
+ Exposure
While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.

Bennett is probably in one of the next few spots. Think he was at 937K this season.

Is "value" for one year?
Value over the course of college athletics (3+)?
Value as in the branding today and going forward?
The use of the word "value" is confusing.
"Income" or "package deal" are real numbers. I'm trying to understand the difference.

Looks like it, if I'm understanding it correctly.

Certainly the most scenic.

Thanks.
I won't kill the messenger (this was a great share).
Stetson is at about $950k for the year.
#1 team in the country.
#2 total offense in the country.
#8 scoring offense in the country.
About to have a movie made in the next 4 years.
To imply that he has maxed out his best case earning potential for this season tells me how much thought currently goes into this list.

It is pretty interesting, IMO.
Obviously very subjective and the specifics could be argued ad infinitum, but this is maybe the first ranking I've seen that attempts to quantify NIL like this (and it's probably decent at least in terms of magnitude).
Strange to see it laid out this way, but I guess this is the world we live in now.

Nice post. Money is ruining the game. One only has to look as far as aTm to see what can happen when you throw money at 18 year Olds.
ATM should be a case study and a lesson for every major program.

Maybe Georgia needs to work on their brand

Again, a lot of this is subjective, and I don't think NIL has necessarily found it's market "level" quite yet, but it is pretty interesting that 25% of the Top 20 are still high school students.

UGA's brand earnings (the schools income from the brand) is sky high.
What UGA doesn't do is change gameplans to optimize player performance, which in turn lowers individual player's brand. We spread the ball out on offense. Pass rush on defense is coming based on matchup, not on a specific player being a primary pass rusher on every down. We don't let the starters play much in the second half with a huge lead.
Because of that we have 4 RB's with 200+ yards and none with 400+ right now. All between 30 and 60 carries. We have 8 guys with 10+ catches but none with over 30.
The system doesn't prioritize individual achievement, it prioritizes depth and team achievement. That's why we won't have any Heisman winners or stat sheet fillers. We'll just methodically win games.

Lists like this make me chuckle. Everytime some message board loser seethes about an 18 year old chasing money instead of some perceived "glory"... If I were 18.. Highest bidder bois, thats life changing money.

Would love to see Oscar’s numbers. He’s not allowed to earn NIL on U.S. soil due to his student visa. But he is outside the U.S. He filmed around 2 million dollars worth of commercials on their Bahamas trip
