Tell me like I'm new -- why is Ole Miss in the CFP conversation this year, before we've seen any football?
Won't they be WORSE this year than last?
Won't they be WORSE this year than last?

Wait, so you are confirming that you're retarded?
I'd just claim to be new.

I know this is a troll but I’ll give a little rundown.
Dart at QB in year 3. Top 5 QB in the country with Lane as HC.
Top 2 WR back. Tre Harris is a bonafide #1. Watkins is more than solid. Juice Well was a more than solid SEC WR at SC.
TE was really good when healthy the back half of the year. Incredible blocking stats and more than serviceable in the pass game.
4 O lineman back from last year. Also bring in 4 lineman transfers, all with D1 starting experience. (2 from Wash, 1 from NC)
Def Line is loaded. Walter Nolan is potential top 10 pick at DT. JJ Peagues and X. Harris are solid SEC DTs with multiple years experience. Jared Ivey is back along with Princely U from UF who was above average rush end. S. Perkins was a fr last year and was a 5 star coming out of high school and is effective there.
Linebackers are the question but transfers from Ark and Clemson seem to provide depth and potentially make that a solid position.
Trey Amos became a starter at CB at Alabama last year and is not the lock down corner at OM. DB was our defensive strength last year and have a lot back.
We have an experienced proven offense and a talented as hell DLine with experience on the backend.
That’s why we are a top 10 pick preseason.

This may be obvious but since you asked to tell it like you are a newbie, I think the expanded 12 team playoff means that a lot of teams that are expected to have 2-3 losses are in the conversation.

No. There are more positions on a football field than running back and we got better at every other position.

Yes. Ole Miss will suck this year. LSU shouldn't even practice the week coming into that game.

Tell us why we should be worse.
