And Allin I have read the rule and it does not say what you are claiming.

Ok. Through day 4 this was fun to watch but now I'm becoming genuinely concerned about your state of mind.

You're either not over it or your need for vindication is greater than what a well adjusted individual needs.

So have you come to the realization that bama does this(receiver blocking down-field) quite often as well?

But you couldn't have cared less about the Peterson play til now cuz you want us to validate you and you are throwing out this agreement with the missed Peterson call as a bone.

Well to that I say, frick Bama. They missed it.
I'm amused you are so mad.

They play wasn't indisputable so you're going to have to kindly get the frick over it too.

Extreme read the post string. I have said several times even though it has nothing to do with anything here that yes they blew the Peterson call.

I am not here as you claim throwing a fit about the games outcome. Hell no I don't like it but I am a good sport and congratulated Auburn on the win. Repeatedly.

I also have discussed why you are bitter.Read that too.

Football over the years has lost something. There used to be some mutual respect but that is long gone in today's culture.

Not in all cases but way back when players would tear into one another trying to wipe the other guy out, then reach down and help him up after the play.

Nowadays they try to injure the other guy then step on his trachea on the way back to the huddle.

The fans pulled hard against the other guy but respected the opposition.

Nowadays much of it is pure hate. You'd see Bear and Shug Bear and Cholly Mac or even Bear and Pat Dye working like hell to beat the other, then afterwards go fishing or hunting or drain a bottle of Wild Turkey.

You won't see that now.

Of course. I'll try and keep things on a more mature level.

I have enjoyed this post string. Proven my point and maybe in some way attracted enough attention to this illegal play that something might be done about it in the future.

Exposed the bitterness of some that ride another team's coat tails and the bitterness of some that can't accept the fact that their team won...this is not enough they must on some level bring the Hounds of Hell against the Evil Empire and validate themselves.

Mission accomplished.

Awesome post!

I'd loved to have read your editorial regarding the incident inside the New Orleans Krystal Burger the night 01-09-12.....

Mosely was nowhere near the ball or able to catch the ball, so no pass interference...To be pass interference you have to impede their ability to intercept or catch the ball.

You are correct; the contact on Mosely did not impede his opportunity to catch a forward pass.

Here's what the rule ACTUALLY says:
quote:

Offensive pass interference by a Team A player beyond the neutral zone during a legal forward pass play in which a forward pass crosses the neutral zone is contact that interferes with a Team B eligible player
.

Notice it does NOT say ANY Team B player. If the contact was on a player who could make a play on the forward pass, it would have been OPI....but it wasn't.

You only give a shite about an illegal play because you feel you got screwed. That play will happen five times in your bowl game at least half for bama and you won't care.

How bout those 2-3 flying punches at DL's head that your OL star likes to throw every game?

Your arrogance is astounding, even for a gump/updyke.

Guess what? This happens to practically every team every week in someway.

But hypocrisy is the bama creed. I swear to God you sound like a woman.
