ND, Oregon, Colorado and USC already said no

ASU has a better QB than Nico already with Sam Leavitt

Cal, Syracuse, Maryland and UCLA dont have the money for him

UNC and T Tech are only realistic options on that list

There’s next to no chance any of those universities offer him more than what he was already making at Tennessee.

If football coaches and schools had common sense and wanted to regain power in this NIL non-sense, no one should offer him and make him live with the bad decsion and set an example.

As much as I resent all this, I don’t hate Nico. His father’s a real dirtbag though.

Him making a good deal less somewhere else will be enough to satisfy me. He’s young and dumb, but I don’t think he’s a malicious person. Someone will end up offering him something, and he’ll learn his lesson when it’s less than what he would have had at Tennessee.

The only reason tennessee was even good last year was because of the running game and defense. Who watched him get gang banged by every sec team last year and said yeah thats my guy

well, Nico had the ability to think for himself and stop all the madness...

Lanning informing Heupel about what was going on was so awesome...Nico's camp never anticipated that.

Precisely- Sampson and the D were the reasons that team saw 10 wins. Nico hardly did anything outside of the Vanderbilt, NC State, and Chattanooga games. Tennessee ran a very basic offense against anyone with a pulse.

Let’s also acknowledge that that Tennessee team wouldn’t have gotten 10 wins in most seasons in the SEC. We finally caught a break with Saban gone, Florida being down bad, and OU having a shitty first season in the conference.

Toledos QB scored all over our 2 win team yet Niko did shite. Good luck elsewhere if you couldnt score on that bad defense.

That’s the thing- if you’ve heard Nico talk, it’s pretty clear he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. You can also chalk some of it up to a cultural/family thing that’s been ingrained within him. I doubt he’s ever made most of his decisions during his adolescence without his father having the final say.

I’m not making excuses for his dumbassery. He’ll learn just how stupid this stunt was if he hasn’t already. Or maybe he won’t.

Why would they? Moore was just as highly rated as a prospect, and he has a year in their system

Oregon would be nuts to sign a starting QB who wouldn't be on campus until summer

Texas Tech is throwing stupid money at people lately.. with their name on this list, I'd bet that is where he ends up..

They have a couple of billionaires now and they are big into sports..

I would love to see the kid get left out in the cold, at least at the D1 level. Send a message to these kids but I know it won’t happen. Just would help restore a little faith that the game will get back to what it was

I hope he has to play in the ACC or big 12 and gets paid way less. He gambled and lost here (relative to what he was currently making) and I’m all for him regretting it. Hope he learns a lesson from this entire situation

You can't transfer inside the conference during the spring portal.

As of this afternoon on Sat radio UCLA is the favorite and where he wants to go. The consensus was he will be paid less than he made at UT

This is where Nico's dad could make his money. Simply bet it all on Nico going to Syracuse, paying 20/1. Once Nico signs with Syracuse, they make more money than the actual NIL deal
