It sucks but hosting Oklahoma should be cool. And we haven't played at Williams-Brice since 2008, might see if I can make that trip, hopefully it's a night game.
I'm sad to see those games off the schedule but I'm trying to at least see some positives here.

I don’t want to hyperbolize with “blasphemy”.
But it’s a damn shame that we had to water down the best league ever.
Think about the sec from 1996-2006.
Now you have to shelf yearly traditional rivalries for new additions that may not be a fit.

I agree. It's a croc of shite. LSU vs State is one of the oldest series in the conference. Auburn vs LSU has been a modern gem.

Don't worry...from 2024 on we'll play each SEC team twice every 4 years, once in BR and once away. In 2025 AU and State will play LSU.

i was explaining what this conference realignment actually meant to some fellow LSU grads (they relatively casual in their fandom - they had a generally positive view on oklahoma and texas joining) and once they understood that we won't be playing ole miss, auburn, state, etc. every year they were absolutely pissed

As if you really know how good teams will be next season when this season hasn't even started yet.
LSU fans think any schedule that doesn't include LSU must be easy.
