I see he would rather support a foreign automaker. What's wrong with American cars, Nick Saban?
It's going to be harder to explain how a 18 year old can afford a Mercedes without a job than all the Dodges and Chevys.

And to think, had he not coached at LSU none of this would be possible.

As Texas A&M was for the Bear, LSU was for Nick Saban. It's amazing how history repeats itself.

Had A&M not been on probation in '56, it's very possible Bryant would have won a national championship there as well.

You stupid bastard. They're making Mercedes right out side of Tuscaloosa... and check your own state for all the "foreign" manufacturing plants. Auto production is global now...crawl out from under that rock.

The state of Alabama is so void of anything worth a shite that Saban decides to open up a luxury car dealership somewhere where he knows the people can actually afford said cars.

Thank god that shite hole of a state has Alabama football for everyone to live vicariously through for their own sanity

He owns two in Alabama.

Mercedes North America is located in Tuscaloosa... so

You're right. But if he'd have stayed, all he'd have would be a chain of of drive thru daiquiri stands.

A few models are made in Tuscaloosa. The more expensive models are imported from Stuttgart, Germany. Mercedes-Benz also builds a ton of truck engines and has production plants in 22 countries.
