Burning Red Tiders should get down on their hands & knees and thank the Spirit of Wayne Huizenga for purchasing Saban from LSU.

They should also thank then LSU AD Skip Bertman for not putting up any effort or resistance to Huizenga $$$$$.

Skip didn't put up any fight at all; just let him walk.

Hope it makes you feel better. Will y’all get hysterical every time this story is told? Because he’s told it many times.

LBJ admits Kennedy was shot in Dallas.

Germany admits it invaded Poland.

Stephan A Smith admits he is black and he yells everything.

I wonder how many more times Saban is going to make this grand admission about choosing Bear over Lombardi ... or not choosing LSU over the Dolphins ... or choosing Bama over whomever.

In the past two or three days ... how many times has it been done now? A half dozen?

I've long ago reconciled myself to this:

Nick Saban had to scratch that pro coach itch, and if he didn't leave for Miami he would have regretted it forever.

I think if either the West Virginia or Penn State jobs had been open, he would have taken one of them. Sucks for us that he ended up at Bama, where coaches are treated like gods.

I’d venture to say a huge reason Saban is the legend he is now has a whole lot to do with Miami

He would’ve been a a legendary coach at lsu had he not left but scratching that NFL itch and realizing it was not for him allowed him to completely dedicate himself to the college game without any doubts, allowing him to become a legendary coach for the entire game

This is pretty much about the same what if as had Pitino stayed at Kentucky instead of leaving for the NBA.

I watched that interview. It was pretty solid.
I've mentioned it before but I really like the Pivot. Particularly when they interview someone you're interested in seeing.

Yawn. Alabama owned LSU for a century before Saban came along. Look at the all time record. How embarrassing

It's why they have so many trolls here that waste their time trying to troll us.

It's hysterical and both sad. But I do enjoy.

To be fair the all time head to head shows Alabama broke LsU loooong before Saban showed up. Saban just added to it with 21-0…

Saban was involved in 4 shut outs between Alabama and LSU in the state of Louisana.

He shut them out 3 times as the HC of Alabama, and got shut out once as the HC of LSU.

I was thinking the same thing, but you expressed it better than I could. That's also why all the "Saban to Texas" rumors were always BS. He already knew that operating a program was better for him than being a mercenary. (Oh, and Bama's a better job anyway.)
