Never watched a game on ESPN+ before - does having AT&T Uverse get you access to ESPN+?

And no, I am not a Boomer...
I have a buddy that wants to watch the UGA game...he has AT&T Uverse. Will he be able to gain access to ESPN+ games using his Uverse credentials?
Thanks in advance...

ESPN+ is its own streaming service. Doesn't matter which cable/satellite package you have.

It's on ESPN+ (subscription) and SECN+ (part of the regular SECN package).
If he has a TV package that includes SECN he will be able to watch but not through the regualr TV, this is NOT the same as SEC Alternate. I think he can go to the Watch ESPN App and then sign in with his Uverse credentials and he'll be able to watch that way. I think?

When I was at Sling and bought the sport's package, they gave you all the games on ESPN.

Yeah if it's on SECN+ as well then he we will be able to use the Uverse credentials as long as he has the SEC Network in his cable package.

As others have said, ESPN+ is a separate streaming service you have to pay for. I don't have it so I can't speak to the utility of it, but there are a lot of games/shows they stream exclusively on ESPN+.

LSU is a basketball school now.

The worst case scenario is you subscribe to the ESPN+ App and pay 6.99 and if you have a smartTV you just download it on to your TV and watch it just like a cable program. The 6.99 is good for a month, and if you cancel it the next day, it's still good through the rest of the month for any obscure BBall games and whatnot.
I got it for a day earlier this year, I tried the WG Dawg method first with my Xfinity credentials (which include SECN) and it was rejected.
Your friend should test it out now, and not wait until noon tomorrow to figure out if he's got it or not.

If you're a Verizon customer, they have package deals with other streaming services. I have the Disney+, HULU and ESPN+ add-in package for something like $13 per month or something. Not a bad deal if you actually use them.

It's also on SEC Network+ if you are a subscriber.
