he was a 3* QB out of high school
Bama looked at him but decided not to offer, and instead took a 4* at QB
....named Jalen Milroe

He threw for 90 yards. I think he’s gritty and like how he plays but let’s not act like the dude pulled a Deshaun Watson against Bama out there. Georgia played terrible in every facet of the game

looked like a badass today…

Probably didn’t have the grades to get into bama

It's not like he set the world on fire tonight. He was 15/24 for 90 yards. He also had 80 yards rushing, to be sure, but still finished with far fewer yards against Georgia than Jalen Milroe had against them in September.

ND outbid Auburn for him during the off-season. Sucks. Glad he’s making a name for himself.

Riley was hurt because of the covid year when usually you would have had summer camps to evaluate players.
To be honest, I watched Riley a ton in high school...I thought he was a good QB, but I never thought he'd be the QB for Notre Dame in the national semifinals. Fairhope football coach had Riley Leonard...and still couldn't get out of the first round of the playoffs lol.
I actually thought Riley was the best high school basketball player I'd ever watched in person. Elite athlete.

He looks like a 12 year old. Georgia got beat by a kid that would get carded in the quarter.
He is a team player like Jacob Coker was, which lead to a natty
Milrose aka fricking lank or something is all about me me frick you me me me. He is cancer and he is about to get an awakening because no one in the NFL wants a cancer like him.

3 star team guy way more valuable than 5 star me first mfers if you want to win championships. Every championship team is full of these guys

Tough kid and he’s a good quarterback. I think Bama probably makes the playoffs if he’s our starter vs Milroe. Notre Dame defense is what carries that team though. Good kicker too

He was LSU bound until Denbrock left. He said in an interview he would watch nothing but Daniels highlights. Crazy.

I don’t know if Milroe is a cancer, but he’s not a true QB.

I know this doesn’t fit with your narrative, but QB is the hardest position to evaluate and project. It is a lot easier to measure a 40 yard dash, bench press and shuffle drill than it is to measure how the synapses in someone’s brain fire when under pressure.

“ yeah but he only threw for 2300 yards. He’s a bad college QB. Georgia will have a big advantage at QB “To quote someone here who posted it a dozen times. He he he

Lol. Yep, probably had to slum it and pursue that JUCO level education up in South Bend instead.
If only he had studied harder in HS. Poor guy.
