OU is #1 in both men and women. SEC will be even harder next year

SEC has no men’s gymnastics teams. You know, Title IX and all. Same with wrestling. You’ll have to find another conference to compete in for that.

Still strange seeing how far UGA has fallen. They used to always be at or near the top.

OU men’s gymnastics team,currently competes as part of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) since there are no other men’s gymnastics teams in the Big 12. The Sooners men’s team is expected to remain as part of the MPSF after the move.

I read that OU also has wrestling. Mizzou moved back into the Big12 in wrestling in 2021 after being in another conference for some years following their departure to the SEC. I wonder if OU might also stay there for wrestling.

Seems like it used to be UGA #1 every year with Bama close behind. Now Bama
and UGA are average at best in SEC

OU has a long, proud history of Men's gym. Sadly, the sport is dying at the collegiate level. There are only twelve men's teams in D1 anymore. And only about five of those are seriously competitive. There are two conferences (MPSF, and Big 10).
