Still incredible they kept the roster intact this portal cycle. Has the pieces. No excuses this fall.

Defense should be a strength (I worry about DL, especially if injuries happen), but QB is still a question mark and we clearly weren’t able to implement much of the DeBoer offense last year. So could still be a bit of a transition year and schedule isn’t easy with 4 teams getting byes. Still shouldn’t lose to teams like Vandy. I’ll say it’s either 9-3 if QB struggles a bit, or 10-2 if things click decently. Injuries on DL could cause a disaster 8-4, though.

I think you’re confused here. He inherited a top two class. And signed a top three class in his short time at Alabama. Worked the portal well too.

At Ole Miss, isn't that more like carving? Depth is so hard to keep, and staying in any system is better than having to go wholesale shopping every time a player gets a notion.
