start trying to implicate other teams...thats phase two.

They started doing that several pages ago....see Maroon Nation. According to the Nation, there are several schools involved, and State was the first to come clean and admit their involvement. You know, because they are really the good guys here. Many other schools in the SEC are fricked, however. Its the real story behind the story. But no one out there is smart enough to figure it out yet.

there's also reports saying that we aren't being investigated right now. You know, like from the university.

From ESPN: "Mississippi State confirms tonight that they are the subject of an NCAA investigation...."

Local MSU homer radio guy had me rolling this afternoon. Said that State was so committed to always doing the right thing that they fired the WR coach for a minor infraction but that this would in no way impact the direction that Mullen has this team moving

why do we have such a hard time cheating just a little bit? We get whole recruiting classes ripped out from under us while recruits from auburn, mississippi, etc. are on twitter and facebook with handsfull of cash and cars and nothing ever seems to come of it. But, let us buy a pizza or some piddling **** and major investigations crank up. It's cause were just good, salt of the earth people who are honest and godly. It's hard to cheat and lie when you are used to being good to your family and friends. I don't blame Mullen. He hires good Christians but then they have to go out and fight against all these other coaches who are willing to tempt all the players with money and sex and who knows what else.

Someone else posted this from over at SPS, but it is worth a repost. This is the level of idiocy that we have to deal with every day in this state. I mean, it is really difficult to explain to someone until they see it for themselves.

ESPN also mixes up your school name and mascot with OUR school name and mascot at least 10times a season. Does that make it true? Does that make us the Mississippi Rebels?

Didn't think so.

Let me translate for you.

Not everything ESPN reports is factual. Better?

Guess Yahoo has it wrong, also:

It seemed odd when Mississippi State receivers coach Angelo Mirando resigned on Sunday, two weeks before the start of the season, but ESPN's Joe Schad reported Thursday that he left because of an NCAA investigation involving his recruitment of at least one Mississippi State player.
The school issued a statement, reported by the Clarion-Ledger, that acknowledged an investigation.

Well, Joe Schad never mentioned the word "investigation" today in his reports.. Further, the statement by the school didn't mention the word "investigation."

So, yes, Yahoo has it wrong too. I'm sorry.
