Missouri is currently in the SEC.
Missouri will continue to be in the SEC for the remainder of its existence.
To you dorks who are still making "Missouri doesn't belong" or "kick out Missouri" threads 10+ years after the fact, you'd be a lot less miserable if you just accept it.

Only thing I don’t like about SEC … who the hell eats pizza with ranch dressing. Seems like everyone does it including my wife. That’s just not right.

The problem with Mizzou was always the Westward expansion. You never belonged in the East but tbh, you have a stronger geographic claim than TAMU, Texas, or OU.

This is actually a very accurate statement. So many folks think they are a better fit than Mizzou, and are absolutely clueless about the history or geography of it all. Well said prof. Well said.

I like having Mizzou in the SEC. Outside of KC and St Louis, the people are down to earth and, for the most part, culturally southern. It's a good fit.

Mizzou is basically as far South as Kentucky is, and Mizzou is farther East than A&M, Arkansas, OU*, and Texas*.
The South"eastern" conference isn't really that Southeastern anymore as much as it is "South"/"South-Central".
A true "Southeastern" conference would exclude Arkansas, Missouri, OU, Texas, and A&M....and would include someone from North Carolina and (maybe) Virginia.
*OU and Texas are not members of the SEC

I think that's a good way of putting it. Being a Missourian ain't for the faint of heart...it isn't sexy but you've gotta have grit and an "us against the world" mentality. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Most of the SEC baws and bawettes are ok with Mizzou….they know we kept resisting when everyone else gave up and surrendered….lol
