This shite is so boring and annoying to hear about...
Give tamu the death penalty or let him play. Anything that is between those is acceptable as well. Just do it so we don't have to keep hearing about it.

Yea wtf does it mean "recommendation"? "Uh, we uh, really think you should do this, you don't have to though"
If I was TAMU my response is: "frick you"

Also since when does the NCAA recommend a team to play someone who's being investigated? I mean they have cleared many in the past but that's kind of odd about recommendation.

The first two games are against Rice and Sam Houston St.
If the aggys won't sit him it tells you how horrible they will be without him.

Basically, the NCAA will say:
1) We are almost finished and believe he will be cleared, so play him at your risk
2) We need more than the 6 hours we had with him Sunday, and have somethings that need more work, so we recommend he doesn't play until we are finished
3) There is a strong presence of wrongdoing and we highly recommend not playing him until we finish the investigation

If he gets suspended in the first two games and is rusty against Bama there will be a shitload of excuses. I want him to play EVERY game.

Yeah because warmup games aren't advantageous.
Get out of here with your mouth-breather hyperbole.

It'll be the new "If Colt hadn't gone down..."

So it would have nothing to do with getting the brand new wide receivers reps with their starting QB...

If it was, the back up would be playing regardless as he will be the starter once the NCAA leaves aggy on the pinball machine to clean themselves up.

Let's not forget, if Colt hadn't gone down, this Bama pseudo-dynasty would be an Auburn pseudo-dynasty.

If Manziel is still in the game late in the 3rd Quarter, I will be very concerned.

You know he will be, probably kicking PATs and whatever else Sumlin can do to pad his stats before SEC play starts.

Is the NCAA ready to show their hand to aTm this soon? Or are they (ncaa) just trying to slow play this?

Craig James accepted money and killed 5 hookers while at SMU and received no punishment from the NCAA.
But though Craig James killed 5 hookers while at SMU, is it against NCAA rules for a player like Craig James to kill 5 hookers while at SMU or any other school? What is the penalty under NCAA bylaws for Craig James killing 5 hookers while at SMU?

Dude, you are more pissed than the 5 dead hookers Craig James killed while at SMU.

It doesn't matter if he sold them; he still broke the by-law stating you can't give out your autograph if you know it will be sold.
He signed thousands for autograph brokers. This can, and has, been proven. The only difference is the severity of the offense.
If he never sits out a game for the infraction, and the NCAA find A&M to be less than cooperating on all fronts, then they can simply smack them with that. Remember, the NCAA technically does have that "ace in the hole" if they decide that A&M or Manziel is just screwing with them.
