This is ridiculous. Three No. 1 seeds. Three more top four seeds and State hanging out as a 5 seed. And the one team that is out of the hunt just beat a Top 25 ACC team.
SEC Basketball, you scary.

Something will happen. Unless everyone ends up 7-11 to 10-8, there will be at least two teams that don't get to five SEC wins.
I'm thinking 7 will get to the NCAAT this year for most teams.

I would bet almost anythin that we are not the last team in the league

I think Bama will be a 1 seed when it is all said and done.

Crazy to think that the SEC may very well have all 4 #1 seeds... but I think the conference will cannibalize itself too much for that to happen.

Honestly, I'm sort of worried about that too.
It's all fun to think about now, but when we're beating the crap out of each other in late January and the rankings are all over place, this probably won't be as entertaining.
The NET takes SOS into consideration obviously, but someone has to lose these games, and it's going to drag us down collectively just by playing, I'm afraid.

It will some, but even the teams that pile up loses won’t get hurt by it as much because they will all be quality losses.

3 SEC 1's? That sure is a turn around.

Auburn may be in survival mode for a month or so. Stay tuned.

SEC men's basketball gonna be warfare this winter.

I don't recall the conference ever being this good. Probably goes back to the 80's or early 90s

My theory is that SEC ADs never really prioritized basketball because the recruiting structures are even more corrupt and apt to get your football program slapped harder with repeat offender status by the NCAA.
The fact you can just engage with the basketball recruiting structure as it exists, legally, and the NCAA cannot do anything about it has changed the game. SEC schools are going to outspend some of these schools who operate on the fringes because many major football programs made pragmatic choices on NCAA risk factors.

Whoa, next four out? That’s kind of awesome to see for us in men’s basketball these days. I’ve enjoyed watching the team play this year.
