True but Moscona was just discussing how NIL can now beat out draft signing bonuses so LSU shouldn’t get drilled like we did every year in the past

And will play just as many games in Omaha as middle of the pack LSU.

Yeah, but are future is looking bright. LSU's program doesn't.

Tennessee is the best team in the conference. By far. A fluky tourney doesn't change that.

This is one of the most pathetic excuses I've ever read on this board.

And that's saying a lot.

There is not an excuse in my comment. Just facts.

Really? Explain? Why would the future look bright for the eighth best team in the conference?

Between Vitello and Johnson, which coach has actually won a game in Omaha? I'll hang up and listen.

We basically return the entire team next year plus another highly ranked class and we made a regional this year.

LSU finished 4th in the conference. Explain why you thought the future was bright for Vitello 2 years ago when his most recent SEC finish was 9th

If we’re going by order of finish, wouldn’t LSU be 6th?

Not much difference than 5th best team in the conference.

Cool, there are like 4 other SEC teams in Omaha. That doesn’t matter right now

Interesting how LSU doesn't get to use the "rebuilding year" excuse despite also being picked to finish 4th in their division.
