Because they turned the ball over too. See how this game works

On the flip side, Bama showed that you can be ran on.

TBH, I worry about this some. We rarely stacked the box with 8 against Bama because of their passing game. But we don't match up as well with LSU's run game as, say, State does.

If we get a healthy lead on LSU, though -- so that they have to throw -- it will get ugly.

Go ahead and do that.

I'm sorry, but Ole Miss drops 2 games. You guys will lose to AU and MSU with LSU being a close game. The Bama game was an anomaly.

Kind of like state is over rated and has the worst secondary in the conference

It's probably pretty close given that it's at LSU.

That said, even if Wallace isn't able to produce much offense I think Ole Miss' defense is going to get a score or two. They're going to eat Jennings alive. And Harris may not fair much better. Stack the box and force them to throw. Our defensive line got a lot of pressure on them last night and Ole Miss has a far better run defense then UK on top of it.

Senquez Golson finna eat.

LSU wins this weekend straight up, the decline starts in death Valley Saturday night for Ole Miss. I hope Ole Miss fans have enjoyed their mini run and greatest win in Ole Miss history vs Bama but at the end of the season the 9-3 record will be a respectable season, better than expected but a huge disappointment from a what could've been stance.

I wonder if Hugh and the OM faithful will copy the Aggies over the next few years with the well remember that time we beat Bama and finished 3rd/4th in the west mantra.

You people are ridiculous. LSU was a superior team than your team last year. Mett's incredible 3 interceptions and hard-headed play calling for the bomb benefited you. You won fairly on the field, but we finished higher ranked than you in the final standings. Ole Miss upset LSU last year. And just so no "Ole Miss vision" clouds your opinion with facts-here is the Associated Press Headline for your enjoyment. quote: Ole Miss shocks No. 6 LSU on late field goal ETA: I did just notice your premise was about playing LSU at Tiger Stadium- and we did play in Ole Miss last year... so I will eat my hat on that one. Your team is talented enough to win again this year- but I do think it's going to be harder than most imagine if we keep the trend of playing harder and smarter going.

That's issue 1. LSU will not have to stack the box. They will play the pass. It will cause Bo to make some mistakes. It's the lack of a run game for Ole Miss that's the issue.

Good thing Ole Miss can run on LSU. Their DTs are awful and their DEs are overrated. Their LB play everyone knows about. Walton had 108 last year against their good DTs last year with Pierce Burton on the line
