I mean you really couldn't draw it up any more perfectly if you were a Texas fan

Well, they COULD have gotten South Carolina instead of Georgia.

Saban on Sark and Kirby

The GOAT seems to think Kirby is going to have his hands full. If there is 1 person who knows that Kirby struggles with... it's Saban.

Obviously it won't impact UGA (the players) but it will impact everything else. Crowds, hotels, hype, etc.

Missouri actually has an easier draw and schedule but point taken. Texas’ is on the easier end but not the easiest in the conference

I honestly started to say Texas might just as well loose a silly game they shouldn't, but at 10-2 /11-2 / 10-3 they are in.

In last year's final regular season CFP poll, all 2 loss teams were in the top 12.

That was the joke of the year and it blew right past me. I’m sorry.

Yawn… sounds like what they said about going into Bama’s house last year.

You weren't yawning at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I'm guessing the Large Hadron Collider couldn't have injected a proton in your arse at the time. The Texas schedule is about as favorable as you could hope for. You're lucky AF to get it, but my guess is that you'll stumble a couple of times you didn't expect. You'll find out that's what pretty much sums up what it means to be in the SEC. At the end of they day, the team that is so incredibly strong that they win the games they shouldn't have is the one that moves on, and they usually have the mettle to finish it out.

”Texas ain’t winning in Tuscaloosa. This is SEC football and the hornies aren’t ready for this toughness!”

A couple of things that you will soon learn about Texas joining a league you are in...

1) Arkansas and aTm are both losable games for Texas: The hatred in these rivalries did not just start this year. The hatred goes back over 100 years.

2) Texas quite often, finds a way to frick it up. Just to put it mildly.
The crowd of piggies will be amped up and that will translate to their team, but I don't think they have the horses to hang this year. Last time we played them we had serious talent deficits on defense and didn't have a QB, that won't be the case this time around.

Same thing for aggy, but they do have the horses to hang. Bad news is last game of the season depth comes into play. In spite of losing 11 to the NFL we probably have the best two deep on both sides of the ball (3 deep at WR) we've had at Texas since maybe the 04-05 and 08 teams. aggy has a decent starting lineup, not sure there isn't some dropoff behind those guys..especially O-line.

But you're right, we have 3 true rivalry games this year (every year tbh) which means anything can happen...best team doesn't always win those things.

And just FYI, Bama ain't Georgia. You'll see that soon enough.
You’re right. Alabama won the SEC championship and played in the CFP last year. Georgia did neither of those things

I’ve heard they are returning something like 6 total starters off of last years team
I believe Mich is returning 10 starters and heavy contributers on last year's defense which the real strength of the team. Combine that with game 2 and in the big house..I'm not penciling that one as an auto win. Sure we should boatrace them on paper, but that not how FB works.
