The "Michigan is down" stuff I'm not really buying.

I’ve heard they are returning something like 6 total starters off of last years team

Starting the year off with a loss will have the Texas fans in full on melt. Calling for Archie to take over by week 6.

I just thought about something. What if Texas plays Oklahoma in the SEC championship this season? Boy that would be embarrassing.

Considering OUs schedule, I wouldn’t lose any sleep over that possibility.

I could see that happening. And then throw in another loss that shouldn’t happen. But still making the playoffs.

I honestly started to say Texas might just as well loose a silly game they shouldn't, but at 10-2 /11-2 / 10-3 they are in.

They got lucky to with Michigan losing so many contributors. I have Texas by 10 points in that one.

UGA, Oklahoma and Aggies will all beat them though imo. 3 losses won't get them in.

That game with the aggies will be must sse TV imo. Get em aggies. Horns down.

Same will be true when we play at Ohio State in ‘25.

They have a lot players with experience, it's not as dire as it sounds. They'll still be very good and the game is in Ann Arbor. The good news for Texas is they get them early. Michigan will likely still be figuring out their QB situation.

Dude, we creamed LSU back in 2022. We beat Bama in 2021.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

And just FYI, Bama ain't Georgia. You'll see that soon enough.

Whorns are loaded, got it.

Schedule favors them, got it.

There is an intangible that could pour some cold water on their season, however.

How will Sarky handle being single?

Is he getting the monkey spanked or not?

Will he miss having a confidant to open up to at night?

Did he forget how to dress himself after 3 years of not having to make any of those decisions?

Is he eating a lot more fast food than he used to?

A single Sarky is a vulnerable Sarky, prone to making mistakes or rash decisions.

He'd have been better off breaking in a coordinator than losing a wife.

I'm pretty sure he can find a new "wife" before the season starts.

The backup QB is always the most popular guy on the team to the clueless fans in every fanbase.

The smart UT fans are in no hurry to speed up Quinn’s tenure. He’s done nothing but get better and mature every day here. I’ve been thrilled with the reports of the work he’s quietly put in this off-season.

You should get the point I was making then. I can’t wait for our team to play an SEC schedule.

Michigan is a "must win" game. If you lose to Michigan then you have to get through conference play with only 1 loss to make the playoffs.
