One of the top jobs in college baseball. Maybe Tony V goes to Starkville.

Who is Oklahoma's head coach? We'll probably hire him.

I’m not sure anybody likes Cohen

No idea if there’s any mutual interest, but what about Mangione?

I have met 2 different fathers of MSU baseball players over the past five years. And I asked them both: "Do the kids like playing for Lemonis?"

And they both answered: "Not really."

And one of those kids was a starter ontthe National Championship team.

I always had him in the Dan Mullen catagory. An awkward guy and not a great fit at State.

My guess is that they will get someone better this go around.

I hope this doesn't fire up the team. We need to take the series in Starkville in two weeks to lock up a Host spot. State is always dangerous.

I think they’re pretty close but they are wildly different personality types.

All the former state players I know worship the ground Butch walks on. They respected Cohen too but all said he was a major dick head

Hot Board is

Skip Johnson, Oklahoma
Lane Burroughs, Louisiana Tech
Tom Walter, Wake Forest

Many more names will be mentioned but I would like to throw in

Andy Cannizaro, Hydrozid Project Manager (Mandeville, LA)

Burroughs would take it in a heartbeat and be cheap. He's done a good job at Louisiana Tech and has a Mississippi State pedigree. He'd be a typical hire from a good mid major.

But State baseball has the ability to pull from a higher weight class. I like Walter at Wake Forest and he will be a serious candidate. We'll have to shell out some money for him, and we need offensive lineman.

So, big time hire for baseball, or take a chance on the mid major guy and buy some linemen?

I wouldn’t sleep on Mitch Canham from OSU. He doesn’t have a conf to play and have to travel 60% of the time. He has been successful and 12-9 in NCAA tournament play since 2021. He only makes 650k per year.

I thought Miss St. claims to be a blue blood? If so, they shouldn’t be hiring a first time head coach assistant

He is literally the only person that has ever won you a natty and you fire him. Pathetic.

I mean they've been on a baseball staff together before.

I'm sure it's fine as an AD and coach as well. Especially with Auburn's current team.

Josh Elander makes $150k a year at Tenner. Good young coach. Recruiting coordinator.

You guys could affordf to double his salary, throw in a used Ford Mustang, plus all the cheese he can eat.

How could he turn that down?
