Be interesting to see how this changes as funding for a bunch of sports runs out.

Yes it will. Our men's track team has won 3 natties in a row, and this year they are non-existent. Supposedly we have injuries, but we finished 56th at NCAA Indoors. We didn't have that many injuries. I am wondering if it is funding/NIL related.

The funding for secondary sports can not run out before the primary sports are cut proportionally.

Texas was ground zero for Title IX.

Been there. Done that.

Softball - Top 10 in nation
Womens Golf - #2 in nation
Mens Outdoor T&F - #7 in nation
Womens Outdoor T&F - #4 in nation

“Sure to move up” after women’s tennis and women’s golf isn’t what championship programs say .

Point being, there is no feasible way to cut the revenue sports. That said, they are going to cut themselves
