SMU at #8 means if they lose a close one Saturday they are going to stay in, which would bump Alabama out.

Miami dropped 6 spots after losing. SOS matters.

Tough break for Tennessee to be behind Ohio State. Not unreasonable, but a huge difference in chance to win for them compared to getting a game in Neyland.

Do think that they will give Ohio State fits with their front 7 and Ohio State's offensive line situation.

Because the Big12 champ will take the 12th seed. If Clemson wins then the Big12 champ and ACC champ take 11 and 12. SMU would probably drop out and Bama would get in.

I don't think Boise gets in if they lose.

I think there's definitely a chance SMU does if they lose a close game, which would push Alabama out.

Does anyone on the planet think Penn State is better than Ohio State?

Hey, we beat Clemson, that's always a nice bonus. I guess we will now beat the shite out of some Big Ten also-ran. Congrats to all SEC teams that make it.

While I do agree, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Penn State or Georgia fall below Tennessee (and Ohio State) with a loss.

Bama was rewarded for their preseason ranking. While we were punished for being unranked

They mostly showed their hand that head to head matters. But then they dropped Ohio state below Penn st. So I still don’t know.
