These coaching searches are always fun to watch. It always ends up that nobody else was offered and they got their first choice all along, according to the fans.
The Alabama job is weird one - the powerhouse program in all of college football, but you have to follow an absolutely legendary coach. That's enough to scare off just about everyone. Not to mention, Tuscaloosa really is a shithole.

Correct. They are never “offered” until everything is done and literally a contract has been reviewed by the lawyers.
