Wants to play for Gus Malzahn, the guy Arkansas brass despise. I believe this is what you call irony.

Former Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson is transferring to UCF, he announced via social media on Monday. Jefferson, who is the No. 20 quarterback in 247Sports' transfer rankings, spent five seasons with the Razorbacks and served as their starter in each of the last three years.
Jefferson is one of the most experiences signal-callers in college football. He signed with Arkansas in 2019 as a four-star prospect out of Sardis, Mississippi, and redshirted in his first season with the program. He appeared in five games in 2020 with one start and took over as the full-time starter in 2021. Jefferson has missed just two games since taking control of the offense, with 36 starts in 38 possible appearances.

Not ironic at all. Glad he landed at a place that needs a good running QB that doesn't have to read defenses or complete passes.

Criswell is trash. Only reason hog fans like him is because he is from the state. This is why our fans are dumb

Whether it’s Criswell or whoever it was prob time for KJ to move on to prove whatever he wants to prove. From all accounts Criswell is a good guy, not sure why you’d feel the need to call him trash before he’s even gotten the opportunity to really show too much. So, you can call me dumb but I’ll call you a hippotwatamus dick.

He wants to be Cam Newton so this seems like tge place for him. Doubt he reaches his dream of going pro as the only time he was given a chance at a pro style offense he failed miserably. No hard feelings he won a bunch of games for us . 2021 season and he lost some too 2022 Texas 8-4. Good luck to him gimmick offenses bring out his best but will not help him go pro.

Really doesn't matter to me who starts, but I doubt it's someone from the '23 squad. Petrino will have them ready.
One thing I'm certain of is that Petrino will find a QB that can go through route progression and have some idea how to read a defense. That wasn't KJ.
