It’s fun to watch Lane criticize NIL while his program is 110% reliant on NIL

Did the people who paid Ole Miss’ team tens of millions last season watch the LSU or Florida games?

12 team playoffs too.

Interviewer should have said: Yes, they did. The 2023 UGA/Ole Miss game.

Right. They watched the 2024 UT game.

Kiffin tries to talk like he’s Spurrier or Saban, but he’s far from it, so his spiel is funny at first but lands flat.

Did Heupel and Tennessee tried to get a quarterback from TCU? There was an article about it.

It looks like a failed attempt to get him. What is next?

Big 12 QB Reportedly Rejects Huge Tennessee Offer in Wake of Nico Iamaleava Departure

After Tennessee parted ways with quarterback Nico Iamaleava over a contract dispute stemming from NIL, the Volunteers reached out to the representatives for TCU starting quarterback Josh Hoover, according to a report from Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Per Johnson, Tennessee offered Hoover more than $1 million more than he currently makes to be TCU's starting quarterback, but Hoover was not interested. He shut it down quickly to remain the starting quarterback for the Horned Frogs.

Ole Lane seems to be suffering from selective amnesia. Beck dismantled his team the prior year. It was a total beat down. Very humiliating for Lane as he had his team highly ranked and Georgia and Carson showed him how overrated his program really was.

Interviewer should have asked about Beck the year prior when he ran Ole Miss off the field ....

He didn’t run Ole Miss off the field, the O-line ran Ole Miss off the field. Greg Talley could’ve had a field day playing behind that line.

Carson Beck was the QB on that field. Not Gregg Tally. He totally destroyed Lanes team. If not for key injuries this past year it would have been a repeat of 2023. Lane could only dream of having a QB like Beck. He’s not great but he is a very good QB. Much better than anyone Lane has ever had.

He had a big day, we scored a bunch. Ole Miss people cling to relevance even though they haven't been relevant in my lifetime.

We beat your arse last year with a bunch of special needs kids at oline that seems pretty relevant to the subject at hand
