Jesus Christ. I spent a whole season trashing Hurts, and wanting Tua out there.
I was one of his biggest detractors.
But yall are so fricking stupid youve got me writing paragraphs praising Hurts.
If you’re saying that Milroe is a better QB than Hurts was, based on a scrimmage where Milroe completed 45% of his passes, and only a couple over 10 yards, you’re an epic retard.

Hurts passing yards and statistics were built on jet sweeps and quick outs. Kiffin worked very well within the limitations of Hurts' game.
If Milroe will just pass to wide open receiver rather than take off he'll be ahead of Hurts passing game his first 2 years.
That said, if I had to bet, I doubt Milroe will ever be the regular starting qb at UA, lest there is an injury to the starter.
Anyway, you've proven many times that you aren't an Alabama fan, so any rise you can get from Alabama fans would be good enough for trolls like you.

I just don’t see it with Milroe. I think he starts a few games next year until Simpson takes over as starter for for Three years. I don’t want to hear about Arch.

Fun to watch. Will be interesting to see his development.
To say he has more raw ability than Bryce is some hyperbole, Bryce is a complete package and the intangibles of his mental game and decision making is elite plus.

This is actually more true of Blake Sims than Hurts.
You need to go to youtube and watch Hurts’s freshman highlights to see how ridiculous your statements are.
I know Hurts isn’t Peyton Manning, but he was actually a pretty good passer as a true freshman. Not consistently, but he threw a good ball, and could make accurate downfield throws at times.
Hurts is a starting QB in the NFL.
Milroe is a project QB who may never even start in college.

Was thinking the same thing. Simpson will be a great passer. But Milroe's athletic ability will be a problem for defenses whenever he comes in. Despite all of Hurt's flaws, he was probably the best pure athlete on the field when he was starting. Looks like it will be the same with Milroe.

Jalen as a freshmen saved the season for Alabama. His game vs Ole Miss was great. He made mistakes but he carried that bunch to a win that day and more followed.
Milroe couldn't wear Jalen's jock.
Thank you. Somebody with some sense.

No, he wasn't.

EVERYONE in this thread needs to go to youtube right now and watch Jalen Hurts freshman highlights before anymore nonsense comes out of your mouth.
Watch that, and tell me that Milroe is on that level right now.
Have some respect for a dude who lost 2 games in two years as the starting QB here as a freshman and sophomore, and led us to back to back NCG appearances.

ok. Let's take a look at every Jalen Hurts pass vs Clemson. This doesn't even count the many times that Hurts pulled it down and took off, like the photo already posted of the wide open receiver in the end zone.
enjoy it ,troll

I love Jalen. He's one of my favorite players to ever wear crimson and white.
But saying he was a great passer, especially as a freshman, is just ridiculous. I don't need to watch his highlights. The only good game he had passing in 2016 was against a 4 win Mississippi State team at home. What else you got?

Dude you’re saying that Milroe is a better QB than Hurts was.
I know that Hurts played terribly in that game. That was the national championship game. Hurts was a true freshman playing in the national championship game after an undefeated season.
Milroe is fighting for the backup QB spot as a sophomore, after completing 45% of his throws in the A-Day game.
Wtf are we even talking about here?

Oh my fricking God.
RETARDS. EVERYWHERE.
I KNOW THAT HURTS WASNT A PHENOMENAL PASSER EVER AT ANY POINT IN HIS CAREER BUT AS A TRUE FRESHMAN HE WAS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE JALEN frickING MILROE END OF STORY.

Nick doing all he can to keep Jalen from looking around. I sure hope he sticks for this season.
We'll see.

Please tell me what you’re basing this on. I don’t need a rundown of how awful Hurts was as a passer. He wasn’t Tua, but he was good enough to win games in the SEC and put up tons of yards.
I want to know what you’ve seen from Milroe

I can’t tell if you’re all really this dumb, or just disagreeing with me because you don’t like me.

I want to know what you've seen from Simpson. Preferably in all caps and/or YouTube video format.

You really think the head coach would like to have one single scholarship backup qb that isn't a freshman?
Boy that's going out on a limb.
edit to say that I so fear Milroe transferring if he can't beat out the returning Heisman trophy winner/ 1st team All American in his last year before going NFL
you might think that he would be confident and stick around in case he had to be THE GUY, thus proving himself, but nooooooo
