After watching a lot of sports in the SEC….. LSU has to be the worst losers ever.
Most excuses is their team makes mistakes, not the other team being better.

Umpire is in charge of the game. If he says get in the box, don't walk out to the grass after every pitch you disagree with

Dude he started walking back to the box as soon as the umpire gestured
And the third base ump had NOTHING to do with it.
The home plate ump was perfectly fine with the speed he was coming back but the third base ump just had to make it about him
With 2 on and 2 outs in a one run game. He called him out for taking his time after an AWFUL strike call.
Just terrible. Should be fired

I mean I can’t say with 100% certainty because I don’t pay that much attention to the crew, but he hasn’t been home plate ump at all in the series so I doubt he’s crew chief. Either way, the home plate umpire was letting him come back in and the third base umpire just decided to make it about him

The 3rd base ump has the stop watch. He's the one keeping time. At least he is today.

Have you missed the LSU fans on the whole "worst defense ever" conversations that have happened? Any LSU fan will tell you right now that our defense has cost us several games this year...including 1 this series. I'd say that's LSU doing something wrong, and LSU fans readily admitting it. With that said, that one call today took an opportunity away from LSU and completely flipped the momentum.
