It's time to talk about Missouri baseball...

...and their chase of historic futility.
Will they win an SEC game ? Swept at UF this weekend to an 0-15 conference mark. Since entering the conference, Missouri has set a new bar for irrelevance in conference athletics. Can they go 0-30? We know just a season ago, their basketball team lost every conference game.
Can their baseball team match hoops? If so, should their current roster and coaching staff be banished from SEC baseball competition?

Mizzou has more 10 win seasons (4) in football since joining the SEC in 2013 than Arkansas does since joining the SEC over 30 years ago.

Arkansas has won 2 of its last 3 games against Florida in football, and Arkansas has sucked for 15 straight years.

And then beat you by almost 20 points in January of the next year. So don’t despair, things can change.
If the Missouri fanbase ever gives a shite about college baseball maybe they’ll get serious. Not anywhere on my radar - Cardinal season ticket holder for decades. All my current baseball angst is reserved for them.

Playing Missouri is an easy 3 wins, but it’s unfair to the teams that don’t get to play them, and therefore they need to go..

Not much better.
Ford lost to Memphis and SMU multiple times similar with Chad.
It was better with Nutt but he got blown out almost every year with some years worse than others in a weak SEC.

Mizzou's braintrust made a once-in-multiple-decades choice when they passed on hiring Vitello. A former Mizzou pitcher even made clear he would give 1 million to Mizzou baseball if they hired Vitello. Vitello previously had great success as a pitching coach at Mizzou.
I don't even pay attention to baseball anymore. That AD made a terrible decision, and the people that put him in position to make that choice ultimately bear responsibility. I have too many options to follow incompetence.

If they were 3-12, it wouldn’t make a difference. Mizzou baseball is like my golf game, there’s not enough time and effort put into it to care about how bad it is.
