If the BCS computers were used today, how would the rankings look?

What if there were no pre-season rankings, no "eye tests", and "name recognition" was irrelevant to the rankings?

What if the slate was wiped completely clean to begin with?

One controversial computer system has come out with its rankings and I think, for the most part, it's why you can't go by computers and numbers alone to make a reasonable ranking.

Still, the rankings are subjective (because someone has to decide which numbers and stats to enter into the computer and which ones to leave out).

The Playoff System is the best so far.

What do you think?

My latest cognitive brain tests show complete comprehension and clarity on all fronts. I be fine.

Keep your gaslighting to yourself.

All the BCS did was rank teams. Humans decided to put the top 2 into the Natty.

Wrong.

The teams that participated in the BCS were drawn from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly known as Division I-A) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and were determined by a ranking system that consisted of three equally weighted components: the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, the Harris Interactive College Football Poll, and an average of six computer rankings. The two teams that topped the rankings at the end of the regular season met in the BCS National Championship

The computers were first ctiticized in 2000 when the computer spit out FSU ahead of Miami. The formula mentioned above was used all the way through the season.

Sorry, did the computer decide not to have a 4, 8, or 12 team playoff?

Okay, but where would Retro Bowl College rank everyone based on what’s been played?

Too early. After this Saturday the ranking will be much more valid.
