If not for your team, what team would you choose to follow?

I know we all hate everyone else in the SEC, but gun to the head, and your team doesn’t exist, what SEC team would you likely end up following and perhaps eventually becoming a fan of?

I’d have to go with UGA, and not for anything recent, but probably because Herschel Walker made a real impression on me when I was in HS when everyone wanted to be a Herschel Walker, but even more so now in the man he’s become, and being honest, I like the unis.

UGA. I'd still get the opportunity to hate on Clemson because UGA dislikes them as well.

Couldn’t imagine not rooting for the Tigers.

So between LSU and Missouri, I’d probably pick LSU. They know how to tailgate and have the best food.

Been saying it since the Mid 2000's that Georgia and LSU were extremely similar programs. Has nothing to do with Kirby's recent ridiculous run. Always pulled for them under Richt unless they were playing LSU.

Bama. Grew up a Bama fan and entire family including my wife are Bama fans.

Only became an LSU fan when I went to school there.

It’s funny. I always liked LSU for the same reasons. One school state (GT doesn’t count). High school talent galore that plays actual defense and rabid fans. Although you Cajuns are crazier than a nut and you guys sure as hell talk way more shite then any UGA fans I know.

It'd be Mississippi State for me. (Brother and his kids are all graduates)
Then maybe A&M. (Fine military tradition and excellent university)

I follow Army! The academies are the last true home of college football. My kid is also a cadet!

Hmm…

I love closer to UVa, but VA Tech is more SEC in things like culture and tailgating, so probably them, or JMU, who appear to be really fun.

Proximity would let me see more games live.

There's no team really in the SEC I truly hate except maybe Auburn though I do root for them in certain games.

So, generally I just watch a game and hope for chaos.

Since they're down the street, I occasionally go to Air Force games but MWC is no SEC.

Typically, I do like watching the Dawgs in general just for usually great football.

I'd probably follow the Dawgs as I lived in Georgia for a long time and have been to many of their games in Athens.

I do like watching LSU. They can be good and that's fun to watch and then they can be terrible and that's even more fun to watch.

As a Tennessee fan, probably Georgia for geography reasons and I love the Braves. Also love Athens
