How good is Mizzou?

For some reason, ESPN seems to think we'll beat them handily:
Sagarin suggests we may be a TD favorite:
Mizzou beat Vandy ... barely ... in OT:
If we were playing on the road, I'd give Mizzou -3
But since it's at home, it should be a push
Anyways curious on opinions about Mizzou. I haven't watched a single one of their games unfortunately.

QB and OL have been question marks all year long. A regression for the defense was expected, but not the offense. I think this will be Bama's get right game.

I guess it will be either get right or stay wrong.
I honestly don't expect us to beat LSU and we'll probably lose the Iron Bowl just because. It would be good to get a win here as we *should* be able to beat Oklahoma and Mercer.
Feels like 3 losses would be so much better than 4 or more.

Depends on if Cook is 100% or not. Their backup is terrible ...

Yeah if he's on, it could be a long day for our defense.

Not very
Benefitting from a mediocre/below average resume and barely getting by on it
Texas/Georgia/LSU would beat them easily like Fexas A&M did. Alabama/Tennessee/Mississippi are more of a toss up but would also still beat them.

They’ve got a nice little ball club. But it’s Mizzou.

They aren’t good.
Potentially close the season 1-4.

Total offense
Bama 46
Mizzou 47
Total defense
Mizzou 9
Bama 59
The above cited from ncaa.com stats.
You know what they say about playing on the road. Run the ball and stop the run….
We have gone up against a few QBs that play a similar style to Milroe. So we have that at least.

Are they playing a doubleheader?

No conference titles since 1969, almost a dead even 120 game series record against us.
Hell, your SOS is still worse than ours as of today.
To act like a football school really is embarrassing for your fanbase.

Wow. Is this true?

Mizzou is bad. They have no quality wins and a bad loss. They looked equally matched with Auburn (the worst or 2nd worst team in the sec)

I'm willing to say their Vandy win was a quality one.

I mean, if we're counting OT home wins over vandy as quality... then yea i guess they are an ok team

Our offense is bad. There is no way around that. Playcalling is a big factor, but we go three and out way too frequently to be an elite team. This coaching staff is obsessed with slow developing second down plays in the backfield that end up being 6 yard losses. It is like clockwork. Then we inexplicably like to rest Luther Burden on third and long. The bright spot has been the rushing game when we get it going. Noel is a solid back, but we miss Schrader.
Our defense is pretty solid. But they can't be on the field the whole game and get continue to get stops. Especially against deep, talented teams like Alabama. Our DBs are suspect, and have given up a broken play home run ball in four of the last five games.
Our kicker has range but is wildly inconsistent and special teams have not been great as whole.
The team has potential if the playcalling was cleaned up and Cook could consistently make some throws downfield. Early in the season, we were also shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties, but that seems to be improving.
