2025 is sticking to the 2024 formula with an obvious home/away reversal

2026 is unknown with some speculating that we will be moving to a 9 game conference schedule.

The league office will have difficulty placating everyone, that's for sure.

I hope it stays at 8 (and I'd bet UGA/UK/SCar fans feel the same way).

I think it’ll be a 9 game schedule.

However, with the ACC’s situation, I see SEC expansion, & therefore just make-shift scheduling in the meantime.

My thing is I think the 4 of us will do whatever it takes to keep these in-state rivalry games.

Now, if FSU & Clemson become conf. members, then scheduling will really become an issue.

For my team I hope we stick with ATm and OU and rotate to teams we didnt play (Fl, Bama, LSU, Tenn, Ole Miss, SC, Auburn).

Doubt it plays out that way but every fan I have ever met wants that, partially for entertainment but partially so y'all can STFU about Texas "not playing an SEC schedule"

whatever allows 3 permanents (or even 2, but 3 works out for the math) is what needs to be done.

1 permanent opponent only would just further drive the CFB coffin down another foot
