How could Schlossnagle be so unprepared for an obvious question?

He panicked and answered that question like he had no clue it would ever be asked. That lack of preparation and strategy on damage control should be a red flag when it comes to leading young men.

He really thought he was going to be able to leave town on the sly. He's kind of stupid outside of baseball if you think about it.

So you’re admitting he has an inability to maintain composure when the chips are down? You’re kinda of making my point. I can’t think of a more pathetic response to a situation.

Because he’s been controlling this situation for months with no questions asked, and he’d gotten used to it. And he was 30 seconds away from being able to scurry out of town, no questions asked.

Instead, he got called on the carpet, and it pissed him off. He turned it into a rant vilifying the young reporter who asked the question.

Had Richard Zane not gotten that last question off, JS and his new handlers would have been able to completely re-write the narrative to their liking.

TexAgs had been asking him for a while and he'd been dodging the question. He replied like he was mad they asked in front of other people, at a time when he knew the deal was doen.

Nope. I'm telling you he didn't answer like a politician (although it was quite Trump-esque tbf) in that instance.

But we didn't hire him to be a speech writer, we hired him to win baseball games and put Texas back on top and that's how he'll be judged in Austin.

I don't give a shite if he comes off as an a-hole and neither did TAMU fans until yesterday.

If they won the game he likely wouldn’t have been asked. He was just hoping for the same treatment when they lost.

Anatomically speaking, you’re in the neighborhood but not quite there.
