Prove me wrong…most teams in the SEC look decent at home, and like dog shite on the road. In no sport is home advantage more blatant than college basketball. It is absolutely incredible.

Yep. It’s pretty wild how different teams can look home and away. Sometimes they don’t even look like the same people.

Arkansas is probably the biggest differential.

Man they play like shite on the road. But they are very tough at home.

It is not worth 15 points, but yes, scientific studies show that basketball has the greatest advantage of sports in PPG differential. The study shows the closer the fans are to the refs they get the benefit of greater calls as well and have a statistical impact in influencing the game.

Imagine trying to execute on offense with a dwindling lead and a raucous crowd. You gotta be so tough mentally

The need to win at home is just everything if you want to win the SEC conference. Then take a few team's lunch money on the road and the big dance will put you in a nice comfortable location.

It does seem incredibly lopsided towards home teams this season in the SEC.
