But they do matter.
Arkansas is usually ranked somewhere between 20-25 in recruiting rankings.
But….. they regularly play every single year, teams that are ranked in recruiting rankings #1 or #2 Alabama, #3-#6 LSU, #2-#7 Texas, #6-#12 Texas A&M, #5-#15 Auburn, #8-#16 Ole Miss, #5-#15 Tennessee.
Get the picture.

Since 2000, LSU has only not ended the year ranked in the top 25 6 times.
So…out of 25 years, they’ve ended the year ranked 76% of the time.
And…. If you are an LSU fan, You know why they didn’t end the year ranked in 2020, 2021, and this year. Or… at least you should.

Missouri is one of the only SEC teams to have a losing record vs Kentucky.

On3, where Mizzou in ranked higher, looks at both incoming and outgoing transfers. 24/7 only looks at incoming.
i think we have a handful more four stars in on3's ratings as well. some of 247's transfer ratings i've seen don't make much sense. nwaneri is rated a high four star rated after almost no production as a freshman compared to trotter being a three star coming off a 100 tackle, freshman all american season
we've also got an all-american defensive back that transferred in that is a three star on 247 because he only has one year of eligibility left. whatever

This year we ended unranked which is all that matters

When they count incoming hs recruiting classes, do they count players leaving for the draft against that?
It’s what On3 is doing and it’s stupid.

LSU has ended the season ranked in the top 25, 19 out of the last 25 years. Thats pretty consistent, not copium.
You’re just playing chicken little. We all know why we haven’t 3 of the last 5 years. No one’s happy about it, but if you are a “knowledgeable” LSU fan, you understand why. Also… if you are a “knowledgeable” LSU fan, you know that we are set up very well to end next year in the college football playoffs.

Kentucky isn't winning 10 regular season games this coming season. That is why Kentucky fans stick with basketball. Mizzou shall be ranked higher than Kentucky once again at the end of this coming season. W-L does matter more than getting top players that have flopped playing for Kentucky.

Sure, lets see what BK cooks up next year. Going from unranked to the playoff would be a great improvement. Hopefully BK can get over the big game hump that has defined his career.

No way they know the exact year that shark was born. Does it have a birth certificate?

I’m willing to bet that class just went back to 1.

I wonder if Oklahoma will improve their record next year by winning 7 games and finally becoming Bowl eligible? Funny how OU is trending like Nubraska after they left for a better conference.
