Choosing legacy schools where it's already been done multiple times by other coaches is the tired approach IMO.
The greats should try to spearhead things where it's never been done before.
Not jaded btw. Calling me a 2%er when it comes to Aggie Baseball would be a generous accusation.
Just giving some levity.

They say it takes several years to be normal again after leaving a cult. He just left one last year.

Social team using Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" as the backdrop music there is... diabolical

DeBoer is boring too. He could have carved something special at Washington, but instead he's just riding coattails at some place it's been done before at already.

yea taking a more prestigious job that pays better, has more history, has better resources, offers much easier place to recruit to, and offers a better place to live is so tired and is the premier baseball job in the state he has spent the 20+ years living in......yea so played out

Guess Jay Johnson falls in that boat too huh?
so when saban went to alabama and resurrected a program that was on hard times....it was played out :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
this isnt a mother fricking video game dude where you are trying to make things harder on yourself. This is real fricking life.
this might be the worst take i have ever seen.

Both guys left for better jobs that paid them more money. That's kind of how the world works kid.

If he wins a title in Austin it should have an asterisk next to it:
*Couldn't get it done without being on easy mode.

cant tell if shiny hook or typical A&M fan take.
fricking sad that the A&M fans have such bad takes that you cant tell if this is trolling or not because its pretty much how they always post.

Just stirring the pot on the rant.
I haven't followed a single A&M baseball game live in at least 10 years.
I couldn't name 10 former players with a gun pointed at my head.

you do understand that A&M has been a top program in college baseball for like 50 years right? not top as in UT or LSU or even UF but its top 15 for sure and has been for a long long time.
what you said is essentially any coach that comes there and wins an NC is boring AF.

He wanted to be near his "alternative lifestyle' buddy. It is honestly that simple.
