That Miami team didn’t just have draft picks. That team had 16 all pros, even after they slipped into mediocrity that team single-handedly kept Miami at the top of nfl the nfl in roster players
The fact you are citing what they did after they left college and not what they did during college is in itself the problem.
It's a team sport and what matters is how they played as a team.

But they [2019 LSU] weren't as dominant [as 1995 Nebraska]. Which is what we are discussing here.
Is it? The title of the thread is "Greatest College football team of all time.."
1995 Nebraska was a great team. I am not saying they weren't. But a bunch of Osborne's teams would have run the table if OU had been as bad in the Switzer era as they were in 1995, there was no OOC conference competition, they didn't have to play a conference championship (cost the 1996 team a shot at the title), and they didn't have to play the FSU and Miami teams that (unlike 1995 Florida) had superior defensive fronts and coaches who were familiar with defending Nebraska and regularly beat the shite out of them.
The obstacles that gave Osborne trouble for the vast majority of his career (the Switzer teams, a strong OOC opponent here and there, a conference championship, the Miami and FSU teams) were not in the way in 1995.
All Nebraska had to do in 1995 was beat the shite out of the same ole Big 8 that they were 71-3-1 against in the Osborne era. That's it. Oklahoma was moribund and no OOC opponent was better than 6-5. How many of Osborne's teams would have destroyed that schedule? A lot. And 1995 Florida had nothing better than a third round draft pick on defense over the next three drafts.
1995 Nebraska's slate could not have been more favorable as far as winning a national title. All the old roadblocks were removed.
And when you break it down by personnel, what was so impressive about the 1995 team? Do you think a defense like 2011 Alabama would be awed by anything they had? Those players cut their teeth defending Tim Tebow and Cam Newton as running QB's. They covered guys like Julio Jones, who was a hell of a lot better than Reggie Baul and Clester Johnson. They saw RB's like Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacey. They faced offensive lineman that formed one of the best groups ever in 2012. They saw a 2011 LSU team that ran some I formation and speed option concepts similar to Nebraska and did not give up a TD to them in eight quarters.
The more physical Saban/Smart defenses from Bama and UGA over the last 15 years would be a problem. Fortunately for Nebraska, there weren't any studs on the 1995 schedule. No Selmon Bros., Casillas, Bosworth, Brooks, Armstead, Kennedy, Lewis, Sapp, and other guys that made moving the ball a lot more difficult for them for many years.
Even as far as Nebraska is concerned, more people would give the 1971 team love but they (unlike the 1995 version) actually had to play a damn good Oklahoma team on the road.
