Who would they even hire? Will Wade just took the job at NC State. Ben McCollum is heavily linked to Iowa. I really don't see any elite up and comers and the only established coach is maybe Sean Miller. But would he even take that job? I remember Goodman or someone that's close to him saying he won't leave Xavier again. Maybe the Texas Tech coach?

He's very good and a state of Texas guy lifer with JuCo and small schools ties kind of like Beard was.
Texas Tech folks might finally just march southeast and burn Austin to the ground if they stole another of their well liked basketball coaches.

Bruce is a perfect fit at Auburn. We’re a Top 5 most conservative big state school in the country. Not many other universities would allow Bruce to get so political but 70% of the Auburn fan base agrees with everything he posts.

yeah i guess anything is possible, but bruce is pretty entrenched at auburn.
