I appreciate your sentiment but I don’t think it has to be “either-or” but rather “both-and”.

Focus on family and friends for sure. But enjoy the great game of football, the competitiveness of the best conference in college football, and just make a decision you’re not going to let 18-21 year old kids, an overpaid coach, or idiots on a fan board ruin your Saturday.
