Here's the thing and I know it sucks but if you're going to have multiple SEC teams get in, you have to put Bama in. We are pretty much the SEC. Just how it is

Alabama has the better resume and the head to head win. Neither should be in, but let’s don’t sit here and pretend it’s some travesty if Alabama was in over South Carolina if the dominoes fall right.

Why is Ole Miss not in this convo?

Seems to me like they should be the ones out of the 3

Ole Miss and Bama both have H2H over SC
Ole Miss has a much stronger H2H over SC than bama

Well, Alabama does have the head to head. You wouldn't be crying about it if this was any other team. You'd be like makes sense since they do have the head to head.

I think they will stay ranked in order from last week but all move up a spot:

12 Bama
13 Ole Miss
14 South Carolina

SMU wins, Bama gets in.
SMU loses to Clemson, Bama is out.

Seems to me like the team on a six game winning streak has the better argument than the team that got skullfricked by an unranked team 8 days ago.

That H2H game is ancient history.

Three losses including Vandy and blowout vs Oklahoma. Played no one out of conference. Shouldn’t even be in the discussion.

Full season matters, not last 6 games. Alabama has the head to head.

I’d say that Ole Miss’s loss to Kentucky at home is worse that Bama’s to OU on the road…

Also Bama’s win vs LSU compared to OM
Loss.

On the other hand, Ole Miss wins over USC and UGa more impressive.

People are underestimating the circumstances around the LSU game. Committee set a precedence last year with Florida State about taking injuries into account and add the ref screw job and anyone with eyes can see we should only have 2 Ls.
