Split the title in 2017, that’s getting pretty far removed.

Pretty impressive number…and factual. This isn’t like most arbitrary numbers used around here

Its the definition of arbitrary. "What number do we need to land on that encompasses the Saban era?"

Why not 8? Or 10? Or 5?

I guess the question is, does any other team have 14 straight drafts with 7+ picks?

Do any others have 5? That's what makes it eye rolling. They kept bumping the number up until it was a class by themselves then landed on that one.

And not a single asterisk-free National Championship in seven years.

Imagine being the barn ( unless you love sheep I know that is difficult) and spending all that money on players with nothing to show for it.

Alabama doesn’t have to bend numbers to be the top team in the draft over the last 10+ years. Georgia and Ohio State are impressive no doubt but longevity goes to Bama and it’s more impressive than one single draft.

“Just keep it down home, cuz.”

You don’t want to talk about paying players, sport.

Now you’re resorted big to a 8-4 record every season

I guess this kind of blows up that Bammer narrative about the talent level dropping the last few seasons.

Well there’s 7 rounds to the draft so one way of saying it is “for the last 14 years, Bama has managed a pick per round ratio of 1 or more.”

My guess is no other team has done this. If you’re bothered by it, I’d say cry less
