When the player plays big time D1 basketball as the tallest teenager ON PLANET EARTH.

You’re being a MASSIVE pussy.

He's more coordinated than most people over 7'2" but you can see he doesn't have to do much out there.

Making him a CBB player will be hard work, but I'd expect a 1-and-done situation anyway.

Dude looks surprisingly well-built for someone his size.

He probably has to eat damn near 5,000 calories a day just to survive given his size, age, and activity level.

Why am I being a massive pussy? Because I don't like folks talking about players getting injured? That is just not something you did when I was playing. Even if you knew there was a great possibility of it happening.

I guess your dad is a massive pussy too then.

The article I read classified him as a 3 star recruit. But for him to just be graduating from high school, he's still got some growth coming.

Guy in the video yelling "that's too easy" at the kids that come up to the number on his jersey trying to block him out.

I'm not seeing the ill will, there was none intended on my part whatsoever. There does seem to be a tracible propensity for BIG men to have foot issues that hinder them.

Manute Bol
Yao Ming
Shaq
Big Country
Kevin Garnett
I can't remember his name but a huge center who I think played for either Utah or Denver.

Andre the giant was lanky at that age. Probably has a tumor on his pituitary gland.

quote:

Gigantism, also known as pediatric acromegaly or pituitary gigantism, is a rare condition that causes children and adolescents to grow too tall due to excessive growth hormone (GH) during childhood. The most common cause is a benign tumor called an adenoma that grows in the pituitary gland in the brain

He basically never got on the court at IMG as a senior.

In EYBL this year IMG played in 12 games, they only had 10 players on the team including him and he appeared in 3 total games for 7 total minutes on the court:
Nike EYBL

He is a HUGE project which is why he's only a 3-star.

Early on in college he'll likely be a 3-5 min/game player at best.

He's still growing. I was watching updated film on him within a year ago and he was listed at 7'7

He’s the tallest teenager in the universe.

It is not an a-hole thing to ponder and discuss the possibility that he has issues with his body.

I understand what you’re saying, though. It would be a dick move to say something like, “man, I hope Daniels doesn’t go down before our game next week

But this kid and situation isn’t that.

This Canadian actually looks pretty athletic and has some decent ball skills. Big challenge for the SEC next year.

I doubt he sees the court much early. Right now he’s a novelty at best.

It’s very possible he develops into a good player but he has a looooooong way to go.

Wow, I’m no Florida fan, but I’m pulling for this guy to do well. I hope he sees a few minutes. He’ll most likely never play more than 15-20 minutes in a game.

Some people just win the DNA Olympics. Reminds me of the freshman TE we have coming in Trey'Dez Green. Other players look like little kids next to dudes like these. Crazy that even a 6'8 dude wouldn't be able to do much against him on defense. I'd hate to be that damn tall.

I honestly feel sorry for that guy. Other than a basketball court, the world is just not made for him at all. Driving, sitting at a desk, sleeping on a couch, seeing a movie in a theatre, avoiding smashing your head on every door frame, etc has got to suck.

Dont think 7'9 wins it. He was probably invited to the circus more often than you can blink.

It’s more likely he backs up the transfer, Chinyelu.
